SKINCARE
One of my interests includes skincare because of how essential it is and how
calming it can be when practiced in the right way. I view taking care of my skin as
necessary and therapeutic to uplift both my body and my mind. Over the years, I urged
myself to start taking a closer look into the products I use, what they do for me, and
if they truly are benefiting my skin or not. Skincare truly is a science, and the only
way to know what works for you is to experiment cautiously until you find a regimen that
works well. Are you a beginner to skincare? Here is a video that can help you learn more!
Some great brands of skincare I like, and why, include:
- The Body Shop: Ethical brand that has an extremely wide range of products for every skin type under the sun.
Their aloe line for sensitive skin is great! - Youth To The People: Can be on the more pricey side, but is worth it for their ethically-sourced ingredients
and effective results. - The Ordinary: A go-to brand to find effective serums and exfoliants for very low prices (which explains why
they sell out so quickly).
